The Turkish Game Department allows hunting of wild boar all year long. Stalking hunts are best conducted during moonlit hours, while driven hunts are appropriate from September 20 to February 20. Weather conditions vary depending on the season, with summer temperatures for stalking hunts typically ranging from 15-20 degrees Celsius at night, and warmer temperatures during the day for driven hunts.
