Overview
Stone Gate, which belongs to the Urartu King Ispuini period, is one of the important sources that contain information about the Urartu religion. It is called Stone Gate also Meher Gate. Meher is a word meaning “illuminating”. It is called by this name because it is believed that the State of God will come out of it in a beam of light. Then continue to Varagavank (The Seven Churches); Complex consisting of seven separate churches and structures built in the 8th century.
