T<\/span>he first mosque in Istanbul was built in Kadikoy on the Asian side of\nthe city, which was conquered by the Ottoman Turks in 1353. The first mosque on\nthe European side of Istanbul was built inside the Rumeli Castle in 1452. <\/span>The first grand mosque which was built in the city\nproper is the Eyup Sultan Mosque<\/b>\n(1458). Next to Eyup Sultan Mosque we will visit the tombs of the Sahabe<\/b>, which is very famous in Turkey by being the\nfirst generation of Muslims, who had come as far as Istanbul and besieged the\ncity. \nPERGE<\/b>: According to the geographer\nStrabon. Perge has been founded by Akhas who came down here after the Trojan\nwars. Perge was first mentioned in 334 BC when Alexander the Great passed\nthrough here. In the following years, Perge went under the control of Pergamon\nwhen the Kingdom of Pergamon became a part of the Roman city. In the first and\nthe second centuries BC, Perge became one of the richest towns in Pamphylia. Therefore,\nit is not a surprise that St. Paul started his campaign in Anatolia from Perge\nin 46 AD. After Perge, we will depart for Aspendos. Lunch break on the way.
\nASPENDOS<\/b>: The eastern land of\nAntalya was called Pamphylia in ancient times. Aspendos (Belkis) lies 47 km\neast of Antalya in the Pamphylian plain. In 486 BC, Greeks and Persians had a\ngreat battle here (Greeks won, they didn't stay for long). During the reign of\nthe Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (161-80 AD) Aspendos got its theatre, which\nis the best preserved of all. It was built by Romans and maintained by\nByzantines and Seljuks. The ruins of the ancient city are extensive and include\na stadium, an agora, and a basilica. Overnight in Antalya.

After Uchisar, you visit Goreme Open Air Museum<\/b>, the Heart of\nCappadocia. Goreme Open Air Museum is famous for frescoes dating to 10th\ncentury describing the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Next stop is Cavusin<\/b>, which is an abandoned village\nwith old cave Greek houses. After Cavusin you go to the restaurant in Avanos to\nhave lunch. After lunch, you visit a pottery work shop, to see how to make\npotteries. Then you go to Love Valley<\/b>.\nLove Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations to say the\nleast. Despite the resemblance to man hood, these amazing rock formations are\nfar from man-made. After Love Valley you visit another workshop to see\nCappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims. Next stop is Devrent Valley<\/b>, which is also called Imagination Valley, where you\ncan see natural rock formations looking like animals. Last stop is Three Beauties<\/b>, three beautiful fairy\nchimneys with their hats, which is the symbol of Cappadocia.
