Itinerary

We will pick you up from your hotel. First depart to Xanthos Ancient City which is very close with the Canyon. In ancient times Xanthos was the residence of the King Iobates. It was one of the most powerful cities of the time and the capital of the Lycian Union. Today it attracts tourists by the ancient ruins of Lycian tombs. According to ancient Greek mythology Xanthos was founded by Sarpedon from Crete. Then we will go to Saklikent Canyon is said to have formed after an earthquake and is about 14 kilometers long. It has a unique beauty and acts as a border between the provinces of Mugla and Antalya. This canyon was “found” by a shepherd years ago. Since then, there have been a lot of businesses that have set up shop here. End of the tour return hotel. We hope your tour was a memorable one and we look forward to seeing you in the future on another TravelShop Booking Tour. Have a safe trip back home and thanks for choosing TravelShop Booking.
