Daily Sumela Monastery Tour

We will pick up from your hotel. We arrive at Sumela monastery in the Altindere village border in Macka district after leaving 40-45 minutes from Trabzon. Once we have arrived at Sumela monastery we will have a break in the waterfall area and at the special balcony where you can see the all monastery from the best position. Then we are going to visit the monastery. We will have our lunch at the Zigana highland holiday village which is located in a unique environment, after travelling nearly half an hour from the monastery. We pass through Zigana tunnel after lunch and we will have a short break at fruit-paste store on the way. Then we will arrive at Karaca cave, which has the richest droop-columnar-stalagmite variation and scenic walls and lime-waterfall. We go around the cave where it is known that people who suffer from asthma can be relieved. On the return to Trabzon we rotate our way through historical road and we will visit Hamsikoy village where the people organize a festival of rice pudding during summer. After tasting Hamsikoy’s famous rice-pudding we return to Giresun. After the tour return your hotel.
