Arrive at Istanbul Airport where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional English-speaking tour guide. Begin your journey with a guided tour of Istanbul’s historic old city. Visit the Roman Hippodrome, once the center of Byzantine social life, followed by the magnificent Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), renowned for its exquisite blue Iznik tiles and six minarets. Continue to Topkapi Palace (closed on Tuesdays), the former residence of Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its courtyards, imperial chambers, and stunning collections reflecting Ottoman and Islamic art. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before departing for Bolu, a city surrounded by natural beauty. Dinner and overnight in Bolu.

After breakfast, depart for Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk (Anıtkabir), the final resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic. After lunch in Ankara, continue the journey toward Cappadocia, stopping en route at Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü). One of the world’s largest hypersaline lakes, it offers spectacular scenery and seasonal color changes, sometimes attracting flamingos. Arrive in Cappadocia in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

After lunch in Konya, proceed to Pamukkale. Upon arrival, visit a Textile Outlet Center, showcasing one of Turkey’s major export industries. Dinner and overnight in Pamukkale.

Explore Pamukkale, meaning “Cotton Castle,” and its dazzling white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters. Continue to the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring a Roman Theatre, Necropolis, Temple of Apollo, and the Martyrium of St. Philip. After lunch, travel to Selcuk to visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world. Highlights include the Library of Celsus, Great Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, and ancient public facilities. Later, enjoy shopping at a Turkish Delight and Olive Oil Outlet before heading to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

Start the day with a visit to a Turkish Leather Factory Outlet, including a live fashion show and free time for shopping. Continue to Pergamon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit the Asclepion, one of the most important medical centers of the ancient world. After lunch in Bergama, proceed to the legendary city of Troy. See the famous Trojan Horse, commemorating the epic Trojan War. Drive to Canakkale for dinner and overnight in Canakkale.
