Itinerary

Meet at Mus Airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Mus. Overnight in Mus.

After breakfast, we pick up you from the hotel and start your city tour. Arak Monastery is a Roman building. Built around 4th century, the building continues to stand strong and fascinate the visitors with its unique texture. Haspet Castle: the construction date of the castle is unknown; the castle walls and two of the towers still stand today. Two destroyed watching towers are located at the vicinity of the Castle in Sogucak village. Migre Bath, which was destroyed during the earthquake was made of adobe and it was blocked up with Horatian plaster and rubble. The construction characteristic of the bath is the usage of the triangle which is called “Turkish triangle” to provide support for the domes. Ulu Mosque with its unique style, the mosque has a rectangular shape. The construction date of the mosque is unknown. Yildizli Han was built on Silk Road. This ancient construction used to host weary travellers and traders during the time of Seljuks. City of Mus has been displaying its hospitality for hundreds of years. Historical Mus Houses were constructed with wood in adobe format and are an example of Turkish civil architecture. They stand out with their thick walls and natural texture. Alaaddin Bey Mosque was constructed in the 18th century by the mayor of the province Alaaddin Bey. It is square shaped and includes nine naves. The main hall is reached through a crown door which is covered by three flattened domes. Minaret of the mosque is cylindrical shaped with a square base and made of two colored cut stones. After tour we drop you back to hotel. Overnight in Mus.

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to a local restaurant for your professional cooking lesson. You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: During our Mus cooking tour, you will taste various flavors of Mus and prepare lunch together with the chef: the city's most famous menu, Mus Meatballs, and a dessert which you will enjoy, giving you an experience to learn great recipes and techniques to add to your own collection. After lunch you will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Mus.

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to the Traditional Turkish bath, a place where physical and spiritual cleaning takes place and which is hundreds of years old. Natural lighting and iconic colored tiles create a relaxing atmosphere. When entering the Turkish bath, you leave all the hastiness of daily life outside, you exchange your clothes for a waistcloth and adorn the traditional clogs. The inside temperature reaches up to 50 degrees celsius under the central dome of the building. This heat and humidity opens the pores of the body and extracts the fatty oils of the body in preparation for your scrub down and a massage by the attendant. After a gentle soap massage, you leave the bath place with towels and pass to the resting room. Here, tea is offered to you. You leave the Turkish Bath renewed, beautiful and refreshed. After the bath we drive to Castle Park, which offers the opportunity to watch Mus from the hill. All kinds of food and beverage facilities, friendly staff especially a place where you will enjoy with teapot tea treatments. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Mus.

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to Murat Bridge is Seljuk architecture. The 143–meter bridge draws the attention of photographers, especially with its arches. Kunav Cave the two-story and 3-kilometer-long cave was home to ancient human settlements. The cave has remained largely untouched over the centuries. It has a number of natural bridges, stalactites and a creek passing through it. Hamurpet (Akdogan) Lake has a surface area of approximately 11 km². The fresh water fish like carp and trout could be founded in the lake. The surrounding area of the lake hosts hunting animals like beaver, wild duck and crane. Kayalidere Ancient City hosts an ancient city of Urartu civilization. The ruins of Kayalidere Ancient City offer a glimpse to ancient history. The historical site is also called Castle City. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Mus.

After breakfast, you will have free time in Mus. Today is the last day of your tour and you are returning home. Depend on your flight departure time we will transfer you to Mus Airport.
