We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. We are starting the Malatya City Tour. You can see the historical and touristic values of Malatya by visiting our Malatya tour, seeing and getting to know it. In the centre of Malatya we go to the ASLANTEPE MOUND, one of the largest in Turkey. The excavations found a temple, a palace and many seals and ingenious metal items from 3,600-3,500 BC. Then we go to the Archeology Museum. Many works belonging to Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze Age, Hittite, Urartu, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods are exhibited in Malatya Archeology Museum. Our next route is Eski Malatya City walls. Malatya City Walls is located in Battalgazi district. The city was built around the time of the Roman Emperor Traianus (98-117). The walls, which are repaired from time to time, have 95 bastions and 11 gates. Then we go to Ispendere Drinking Water. İspendere is famous for its healing waters in Malatya. You can drink from soda water. Our last stop is passing to Sürgü Takaza. Sürgü Takaza is one of the promenade places of Malatya in the green. The streams in it add a different coolness here. You can find places to eat delicious trout around. We return to the hotel after the end of the tour. Overnight in Malatya.

(Breakfast and Lunch included)

After breakfast we will go to a local restaurant to get a cooking class by the chef of the restaurant. The guide will also explain all the details to us. You will prepare the lunch with Chef and after the preparation you will eat that lunch at the restaurant. In our food menu we will learn local dishes from Malatya Cuisine, which is inspired by Turkish cuisine. Of course some desserts and salads will be on the menu. After the lunch we will return to hotel. Overnight in Malatya.

We will pick you up from your hotel and go to Hamamı (Turkish Bath). This Hamam culture dates back to the Roman empire ages. Today the Turkish Bath has three sections as cold part, warm part and hot part like a Roman Bath. Also Turkish Baths have special staff for the scrub (peeling) ritual. Female staff called as natır, male staff called as tellak in Turkish Language. We will get relax and chill. After this local relaxing ritual return to hotel. Overnight in Malatya.

(Breakfast included)

After breakfast, we are picked up from your hotel and set off towards Elazig. Then we start our Harput tour known as Old Elazig. For the first time in Harput Castle, BC It is estimated that it was built in 2000. In the following periods, settlement started on the skirts of the castle, and then the surrounding city was surrounded by walls. However, due to the fact that its historical city, which has a bright historical past, is not suitable for settlement and the difficulty of nature conditions, it was established in its current location by Reşid Mehmet Pasha in 1834. The history of Elazig is new, but the history of the region is quite old. The historical Harput campus, which looks like an almost abandoned city today, welcomes us with its silence and historical texture that takes us to the past. The Great Mosque, which was built between 1156 and 1157 by the Harputlu ruler Fahrettin Karaaslan, is one of the oldest Turkish mosques in Anatolia. The rectangular mosque, whose walls are made of rubble dome arches and minaret bricks, has two doors and its minaret remains curved even today. During our visit to Elazig Archeology and Ethnography Museum, it contains the works recovered during the rescue works during the construction of Keban and Karakaya dams. After our museum visit, we move towards Malatya. We settle in our hotel in Malatya. Overnight in Malatya.

(Breakfast included)

After breakfast check out from your hotel and transfer to Airport for your flight back home. We hope you have enjoyed our 6 Days Malatya City & Elazig Tour. We hope this was a memorable tour for you and looking forward to see you again on another tour of ours. Thank you for joining us.
