Welcome to Istanbul - Turkey! This tour is amazing for those who would like to experience Istanbul and Gallipoli in a tight time frame. Visit Istanbul and Gallipoli; you will travel back to WW1 in ANZAC Dawn Service, feel the magical atmosphere of Helen's eternal love while walking around the Trojan Horse.
This tour includes; luxury air-con transportation that starts from Istanbul Airport all along with the trip, an ANZAC BBQ buffet dinner in Gallipoli, all entrance fees (mentioned in the itinerary), 5-star hotel accommodation in Istanbul, 4 Star hotel in Çanakkale, and professional English-speaking tour guides who are experienced and best in their field. Welcome to Istanbul! Your guide will be waiting for you at the gate behind passport control/immigration at Istanbul International Airport (IST) or Sabia Gökçen International Airport to assist and transfer you to your 5-star hotel. Watch out for the TravelShop Booking sign.

We depart for Gallipoli at 7:00 am (4.5 hours distance). On the way, we will be watching the latest documentaries about the Gallipoli campaign and have lunch on the coast of Gabatepe. After this delicious break, the Gallipoli peninsula tour will start. The epic stories and facts of the soldiers that you are going to listen to on the fields Kabatepe War Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Australias Memorial and Cemetery, Quinns Post, Turkish 57th Regiment Cemetery, the Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, and Cemetery will capture you. Overnight in Canakkale.

Today we will visit the Trojan horse and the ancient city of Troy, located on the other side of the Dardanelles (approx. 1.5 hours distance including ferry). Troy is one of the most famous cities in history, remembering us Hector, Achilles, and Achaean Greeks, the sake of Helen, Paris, Agamemnon, and Priam. Your guide will tell the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse, and Helen of Troy. If you wish to buy snacks for the overnight camp, today is the best time to do it. There are also some food and drink stalls available at ANZAC Cove. Tonight at 5:30 pm we will meet at the hotel for our buffet dinner before heading to ANZAC Cove for the Dawn Service. Overnight at ANZAC Cove.
If you don’t wish to stay outside at the ANZAC Commemorative Site overnight, we provide optional hotel accommodation in Çanakkale. This option is not available after you arrive in Turkey, pre-booking is required.
Please Note: The governments of Australia and New Zealand have announced that the Gallipoli peninsula will be closed on for safety and security purposes, cemeteries and memorials cannot be visited as in previous years. The new opening time will be decided later on and before guests arrive we will inform you. For daily information and the processing questions you can contact with our head office.

Don't forget your warm clothes, sleeping bags, wet weather gear, torches, hat, sunscreen, and good walking shoes because Gallipoli is still as cold and dark as it was 99 years ago! Optionally, we can provide sleepings bags, please let us know at the time of booking.

After attending the ANZAC services, at approx. 15:00 we will travel to Istanbul. The bus trip will be around 5 – 6 hours. So approximately at 21:00, you will be back at the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

After breakfast, we have Istanbul City Tour. Our first visit will be to Hippodrome. Ancient Hippodrome was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.
Then we will visit Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque. Across from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, it was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles.
Our next visit will be to Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque. The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Today it is a mosque.
Lunch break at 1:00 pm. After lunch, TravelShop Group will take you to the Asil Efendi which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping.
