Since 1992, the restricted region of Upper Mustang and its capital, Lo Manthang, has welcomed foreign visitors. Your journey begins with a scenic flight or drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Here, you can explore the city, enjoy the nightlife, and prepare for your Mustang adventure. Catch a private jeep to Beni and then head to Tatopani. Where you can relax in natural hot springs known for their healing properties.

After your rejuvenating soak, continue to Kagbeni the gateway to Upper Mustang. where you can marvel at timeless caves and monasteries of great historical and cultural significance. Next, take a short ride to Muktinath Temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. Who revere it as the abode of Hindu deity Vishnu and Buddhist deity Avalokiteśvara. After performing puja and paying your respects and drive back to Kagbeni for overnight stay.
